The soccer goalkeeper is one of the most important players on the field - they are the last line of defense and the first line of attack.  

For the Fall 2024 soccer season, Alpharetta Ambush Soccer Club are happy to announce our continued relationship with Glen Fox, Courtney Hicks and the Southern Crescent Goalkeeper Academy.

Goalkeeper training will be conducted 2 times weekly for the Fall 2024 season.
The training sessions conducted by the SCGA staff will be high intensity and highly specialized.

Sessions of varying skill levels is available for current U10 and older goalkeepers.

Goalkeeper Training Schedule For Fall 2024 
Begins on Sunday August 11th
Elite/Advanced Goalkeeper Training (Requires Fee)
Sunday - 2 sessions available between 5:30pm - 8:0pm
Monday - 1 sessions available between 5:45pm - 7:15pm
Tuesday - 2 sessions available between 5:30pm - 8:15pm
Wednesday - 2 sessions available between 5:30 - 8:15pm

FALL GOALKEEPER TRAINING WILL TAKE PLACE ON THE WEBB BRIDGE PARK UPPER GRASS FIELD.
PRACTICE LOCATION 1  (ADJACENT TO THE CONCESSIONS STAND)

Each Ambush team's primary goalkeeper is required to attend the training sessions on a weekly basis. 
 
Training session size will be kept to about 8 or 10 goalkeepers so that instruction can be very specialized.
 
Ambush Head Coaches have been instructed that Goalkeeper Training is mandatory for all primary goalkeepers.
If training falls during normal team practice time, that is okay, goalkeepers should attend goalkeeper training.

December 11th will be the final day of GK training for the Fall 2024 Season.
