Tryouts for the Edgewood Select Program for all age groups is scheduled for 8/19/18. We will send out times for each age group as we get closer, but it will be mid-afternoon (between 2 and 4). It will be offered for kids 8 through 14.
In order to make this program as successful as possible, we need good, committed leaders on each team. As we begin to form teams, we’ll be seeking coaches for the Select baseball program. We are looking for coaches that are committed to building youth baseball players and strengthening the future of Edgewood baseball.

What does it cost, and what’s included?
* The cost this year will be $350...yes, we understand that it is an increase over last year’s price, but we learned a lot this year, and will be including much more for your kids. And we’ll work with you to be able to pay this off over time if needed. We’ll just need to collect all fees by March.
* 12-20 Little League games, including insurance for Little League
* 12-20 SWOL (Southwest Ohio League) games...this is new this year, and the reason for most of the jump in price
* 2-3 Tournaments (including Little League District tournaments, which is required)
* Upgraded Uniforms
* Matching bat bags!
* Increased time at the practice facilities. We’ll have fields (indoor and outdoor) available all off-season, from September through March. The expectation would be 3-4 practices each month throughout the fall and winter, depending on the team and coach. We’d work with coaches to secure additional practice facility time if desired.
Our goal with the Edgewood Select Program is to continue to work hard to offer you a select experience without the cost of other select programs, and to get your son ready for High School ball and beyond.
