Hi Everyone,

Practice starts tomorrow evening.  It's managed by the Celtic Elite trainers.  Great bunch of coaches!  If your like me (inexperienced volunteer), then you need things simplified.  Practice at this stage is called "Player Pool".  What that means is all boys (all teams) in U7 will get grouped (in no specific way) and assigned to a trainer.  Team coaches can also attend to assist trainers, but it's not mandatory.  I'm planning to be there Tuesdays.  I can't make Fridays.  

You should have received an email with title "U7 Player Pool Program" outlining the details.  If you missed it, here's the scoop.

Program will consist of guided discovery rather than instruction, with game-oriented training rather than drills. Each group will have a designated lead trainer to facilitate the age group curriculum and will have a set of trainers and parent coaches to facilitate the program. Weekly training will run for 8 weeks. 

Schedule
Tuesdays 5:30pm-6:30pm @ Shelter Cove (outdoor facility - fields)
Fridays    6:30pm-7:30pm @ Riverwood Park (indoor facility)

I posted a field map of Shelter Cove above.  Our practice are is SC T6 and SC T7 with a red square around it.
