Earn Cash Toward Registration Fees

Earning money for your soccer registration is as easy as 1-2-3! For each sign you sell to a business YOU earn $100 toward your fees. For each year after that (for the next 3 years) you will get $75/per sign sold toward your fees.

Step 1: Make a list of area businesses that you would like to give information to about purchasing a field sign.

Step 2: Fill in your Player name and team on the Athens United Soccer Sponsorship Form (so you will get the credit for the sale) and make copies of the letter and sponsorship form for all the businesses you have on your list.

Step 3: Visit each business on your list and ask to speak to the manager or assistant manager then:

Introduce yourself and identify that you are a player for Athens United Soccer Association. Tell them that you are out encouraging local businesses to take part in a great advertising opportunity with your club, by buying a field sign to be placed at our home fields (Holland Park – 250 Vincent Dr. Athens, GA). Let them know that for each sign you sell, it is helping you earn your own registration fees for the season. Ask if you can leave some information for them to take a look at when they have a free moment– then hand them a copy of the letter and sponsorship form. Tell them if they have any questions about our field signs, they can call either of the numbers listed on the bottom of the letter. Tell them thank you for taking a look at the information and you hope they will consider advertising their business with us! Bonus step: Make sure YOU read the letter and sponsorship form yourself so that you can be familiar with the information (like the price of the sign).
