VIYSL Teams Rule HYSA 2011!

Posted: Apr 16, 2011
The 2011 HYSA Winter League concluded this past February. The league awarded a total of 12 division championships, two of them in the U8 age group - a first for HYSA Maui. However, it is some of the other statistics which proved to be most impressive regarding HSF. 17 of the 24 finalist were teams that play in HSF's Valley Isle Youth Select League and of the 12 division champs crowned, 11 of them are HSF members. On the girls side PONO SC was one division shy of a clean sweep winning the U14, U12 Gold, U12 Silver, U9 and U8 divisoins with Maui United grabbing the U10 division. On the boys side more HSF dominance as PONO SC, Maui United and the Wailuku Bruisers took home the U14, U12 Gold, U12 Silver, U10 and U8 divisions.
