At Academy of Excellence Camp our Elite Academy gives the college bound student athlete a feel for the collegiate soccer experience.  We cover all aspects of the game including technical, tactical, physical, and psychological.  Each camper will train with the entire Fairfield University staff, including strength and conditioning coach Mark Spellman.  Our top flight staff replicates the pre-season training program that we conduct here at Fairfield. We guarantee that we will challenge each and every camper to realize their potential as a future college student athlete.

Goalkeeper Sessions

 

The Academy of Excellence will offer a full range of training sessions during the week.  Not only will we work on the technical aspect of goalkeeping, but also the tactical, physical and mental. 

 

To do this we will combine drills with competitive games to keep the sessions focused on the broader 11 v 11 game of soccer.  Training will include all aspects of the game from diving to distribution, high balls to proper goal kicks. 

 

Each goalkeeper will be exposed and immersed in goalkeeping concepts used in our own Fairfield goalkeeping system.

Tuition:

$275 Overnight or $250 Extended Day

Registration:

Online registration is available at: www.academyofexcellencess.com.

Housing:

All overnight campers will be housed in Fairfield University dormitories. We accomodate roommate requests.

Meals:

Breakfast, lunch and dinner will be provided in the university caferteria.

Medical Assistant:

Campers will not be able to participate without a fully completed medical form. A certified Athletic Trainer will be available at all times during the camp hours.

Refunds:

2 weeks prior to the camp full refunds will be issued. Any cancellations after July 6th 2011 $100 will be retained for admistrative fees from the full refund.
