Alex’s Lemonade Stand

The Warriors Travel Baseball Organization, is holding a special event to support a local Warrior and his fight to help others with cancer. They have asked both the Swedesboro Woolwich Little League and the Kingsway Knights Travel Baseball Teams for their help....

Many of you heard of Mario Carpino. Mario Carpino is a eight year-old boy from Woolwich Twp who is battling inoperable brain tumors

The Warriors Organization is trying to help Mario exceed his goals, so all day long on June3^rd, they will have Alex’s Lemonade Stands with their Warriors players at Locke Ave fields supporting this great cause. At 1pm on Field H, The Warriors will be truly honored when Mario Carpino throw’s out the first pitch during the Black U8 Warriors game vs. the Delaware Diamonds.

I am asking our SWSA families to stop out to either Locke Ave Park on Sunday June 3rd or the Woolwich Fire House on Saturday June 9th and support a true Warrior, Mario Carpino and his cause to help other local Warriors- Maddie, Jake and every other child who is fighting cancer.

The Warriors goal is to raise a minimum of $5000 towards Mario’s efforts but hopefully much more.

Mario's goal for his stand at the fire house is to raise a minimum of $25,000.

With his communities support we can help him and the Warriors reach their goals.

Fall 2012 Late Online Registration Is Open!!! - Tuesday, May 15, 2012

Fall 2012 Late Online Registration: opened to July 31st ($30 late fee will be assessed)

(Click on the "Register" Link in the upper right hand corner of the homepage to start the registration process)

*Travel Registration Only - SWSA has removed the up-front $20 try-out fee. After try-outs and team assignments are complete, travel registrants will be required to pay the full amount.

All Travel Teams will be Announced JUNE 1, 2012

2012 Spring Soccer:

*Hello parents - week #1 was fun but we encountered a few bumps. To make the program smoother we adjusted the grouping. Please follow the age group and times as outlined below.

**Each registered family should have received an email from our Director of Coaching Andy. If you DID NOT receive an email/letter, please email Andy @ ajschmitt676@yahoo.com

Birthdate and Age Group Chart:
U-5 (October 1, 2006- April 1, 2008)
U-6 (October 1, 2005- September 1, 2006)
U-7 (October 1, 2004- September 30, 2005)
U-8 (October 1, 2003- September 30, 2004)
U-10 & U-12-YDP (August 1, 1999-September 30, 2003)

Group Times:

U-5 and U-6 Boys/Girls will operate from 2:00pm- 3:00pm

-For both boys and girls in the U-5 and U-6 age group.
Girls U-7 and U-8 will operate from 3:15pm- 4:15pm
-For Girls only in the U-7 and U-8 age group.
Boys U-7 and U-8 will operate from 4:30pm- 5:30pm
-For Boys only in the U-7 and U-8 age group.
YDP Recreational Intramural Program will operate 5:45pm- 6:45pm
-For both boys and girls registered in the YDP program

2012 Spring Soccer Format:
-8 weeks
-Sunday's: 3/25, 4/1, 4/15, 4/22, 4/29, 5/6, 5/13, 5/20 (No session on Easter 4/8)
-Micros will play 4 v 4 at High Hill Park
-30 minute soccer training session by professional trainers
-25 minute games

The Walter Hill School Field is located directly behind the school and is accessible via Auburn Rd. Kings Hwy or High Hill Rd. From Downtown Swedesboro, take Auburn Road south pass Locke Avenue and True Value Hardware. Make left onto High Hill Rd and school is located on the left. From 295 take Center Square Rd, turn left at Auburn Rd (CVS), turn right onto High Hill Rd. and school in on the left.

Nehaunsey Elementary School

From points North: Take 295 South to exit 17. Turn left off of exit. Go to light and turn right onto Harmony Rd, go past Burger King to first light. Turn left onto Swedesboro-Paulsboro Rd. Go about .2 miles and the school is on the right behind the Greenwich Branch Library.

From points South: Take 295 North to Exit 16A. Turn right onto Swedesboro Rd. Go through blinking light and the school is .5 mile on the left side behind the Greenwich Branch Library.
