CONCUSSION TRAINING and 2013 COACHES CERTIFICATION COURSES

Register as a user on the website, and take the online course.  It probably takes about 20 to 30 minutes. 

When you complete the course, you will get an online certificate.
Save this certificate as a PDF file on your computer. 

Then email the PDF copy of your certificate to both:

UPDATED -2013 Coaches Certification and Background Check

The Adult Certification date for Adults 18 and older is being held on: Tuesday, July 30th and Tuesday, September 24th at the Borough Hall start time 7:00pm. Information regarding fingerprinting/background checks will be distributed at course.

If you had previously attended the Minor's Certification Course while a minor and have turned 18 or older and wish to coach, you MUST attend an Adult Certification Course.

PARENT CODE OF CONDUCT

  Code of Conduct

The Parent . . .
1. Does not coach the players (including their own child) from the sidelines during the game.
2. Respects the judgment of the referee and does not criticize officials.
3. Focuses on mastering soccer skills knowledge and, to some extent, game strategies.
4. Decreases the pressure on their child to win.
5. Believes that soccer's primary value is to allow youth the opportunity for self- development.
6. Understands the risks. A soccer game is full of mistakes. Playing soccer is a willingness to chance a failure.
7. Communicate with the coach and create a positive working relationship.
8. Controls negative emotions and thinks positively.
