CDO Soccer Club is looking to create two women's teams in the U17/U18 age groups for the 2014-15 season, with interactive playing opportunities to best assist all players to play the level of soccer at which they may wish to compete in the future.
The make up of these U17/U18 teams will depend upon the number of players wishing to play within the club next year, and may be "age true" or mixed, depending upon who signs up for tryouts.
Potential Training Locations: (Likely to be a combination)
Riverfront/Naranja Park, Oro Valley (Opening Jan 2015)
Crossroads Park, Marana
Free CDO Training Opportunities:
- Professional Speed/Agility with Desert Speed School
- Professional Goalkeeper Training with Daniel Cuadra, former Mexican 1st Division player/coach
- Free sports psychology workshops with Terry Hickey, former consultant to Arsenal FC (English Premier League)
Further Information:
- Once formed, teams will have a choice of tournaments, including college showcases linked to schools of interest for student athletes
- Potential for crossover tournament teams within CDO and with other community based clubs to attend showcase events, allows for more players to participate at the appropriate level of play
