I hope this email finds you all in good sprits. It is nearly time for camp and we are very excited for your arrival.
Following are some details to note.
Check in will be outside GONZAGA DORMITORY ( closest to the softball field): Between 8:30am-9:30am (1st session will start at 10am) on Tuesday 21st
Check out will be at 12noon on Friday 24th
Extended day campers
First day: Check in at Jogues Dormitory (there will be a room for you to keep your stuff in) Each day after please arrive each morning at Lessing Field (grass game field) at 8:45am.
Evening pick up will be from Lessing Field at approximately 9:15pm.
Medical forms - if you have not returned your medicals forms please bring them with you on the first day of camp. A medical form is attached incase you are still in need of one. Please note, if you are taking medication a "Authorization for the administration of Medication by Camp Personal" must be filled out. (both forms are attached)
Room Key Deposit: A key deposit of $55 will be required at check in and will be returned at the end of camp as long as the key is returned.
What to bring: Soccer equipment (cleats, shin guards, shorts, t-shirts, rain gear…etc). Sneakers or running shoes. (something you feel comfortable wearing inside) Swim gear. Bedding, towels etc. and a FAN!! sorry the dorms are not air conditioned and air conditioners can not be put it. (sorry school rules)
All of the rooms are equipped with a fridge/freezer and a microwave.
Meals: The campers will be provided with three meals a day, if there are any concerns with food allergies etc, please contact me and I can make arrangements with the catering staff
Money: We will NOT have a camp store but campers will have the opportunity to order pizza at night through our staff at their own cost.
We will have an athletic trainer on duty at all times staying overnight in the dorms and water will be provided every session.. I would advise bringing a water bottle to fill on a regular basis...its supposed to be hot!
The dorms will have camp counselors staying in there at night on the same floor as well as the female coaches.
You will be participating in three training sessions a day also offered will be a campus tour and recruiting Q and A session for campers that are in the college recruiting stage
Friday will be the final session, which will be games starting at 9am, the camper will be informed ahead of time of what time their are playing and will be followed by the closing ceremonies. We invite all the parents to come out and watch the game.
