St. Peter's United Methodist Church is proud to offer Upward Basketball and Cheerleading to the Western Community. Upward is a Christian faith-based, Christ-centered program that provides a fun environment for children to learn healthy competition, fundamental skills for the sport, and Christian values for life.

Announcements

REGISTRATION EXTENDED - Wednesday, October 31, 2012

Due to another year of overwhelming popularity, at the close of registration many of our basketball grade divisions are full!

New this year and for the next two weeks, we are extending late registration for some divisions and offering a wait list option for the divisions that are already filled. It is our hope that those players who were unable to register during open registration will take advantage of this extra opportunity to do so. We encourage you to share this information with your friends and family!

Any player wait listed will be notified via email if/when they are moved from the wait list. Wait list slots are very limited and are filled on a first come basis, so don't delay!!

**New Gym Floor** - Monday, October 08, 2012

We are very excited to announce that we will be installing a new gym floor for our 2013 Upward Season!!
As many of you know this has been a goal for the Upward Leadership Team and we are pleased to share this exciting news with our Upward families.

Volunteers

The Upward Basketball and Cheerleading Program is run by volunteers. Please click the "volunteer roles" tab at the top of this page for further information/descriptions. Please contact us or indicate your interest during registration, if you are willing to help in any capacity - every role is important and every minute counts!

Youth volunteers are welcome and must be in the 6th grade or older to serve. Volunteers in our concession stand must be over the age of 16 to handle money.

Referee volunteers must be at least 16 years of age.
